"Relay-race" is to me, one of the most interesting sporting games. One moment, you have the baton, another moment, you're done having it -it's no longer yours to hold on to. Relay race is very similar to our human lives in the way the latter evolves from one generation of people to another. In relay, what you do when you have the baton matters a lot, since that is your own contribution to the whole game. The only time you have the power to actually influence the game is when you still have the baton. No one holds on to the baton for the whole time. We as dreamers really need to awaken from our slumber, lest, we'll never make it in reality. I always say this: We all are dreamers; some sleep for a lifetime; some eventually wake up and work on their dreams . Imagine for instance that your whole life we're a candle that will burn for a hundred years. Whether or not you use this light to achieve anything, it keeps burning without the slightest hesitation, without an apology. It never waits for any person to do what is right or best for them. It just burns. So, a man can yet suffer in darkness when there's a torch in his hands. It is your choice to use this light that renders the light useful or useless for you. Otherwise, a torch is merely a torch and nothing more. In the same sense, dreams are in themselves entirely abstract and completely boneless to move anything in reality. This is where their powerlessness lies. Dreams are valid but can be vain, too. Our actions are the only means of giving strength and adding credibility to our dreams.
