VIRTUE SERIES: PATIENCE

An old saying claims that " the patient dog gets the fattest bone ", but sadly, today, I'm not sure that the patient dog gets any bone at all. The same is applicable to humans. A farmer who waits patiently for the rain to water his seeds would not prosper as much as one who finds a means of irrigation when the rain delays. You don't harvest the same day you plant; you don't plant and then sleep until the day of the harvest either. Hence, 'Patience' is not a state of inaction, instead, it is the right thing to do after you have done all that is needful. Patience is a valid requirement for prosperity. This is because, most certainly, life has patterns and processes that cannot be totally ignored or despised. Growth is a process by which small things become big. Patience is necessary since change does not happen by accident, especially when it's a good one. However, the point is not that patience fails. Rather, the point is that there are two main ty
