DREAMS 004: The Easiest Way To Make Progress At Anything In Life.

Today, I'm just going to be talking about making your dreams happen. How did I make this blog happen? How did I get a job at the radio station? How can I apply the same principles into any other dream I have? Let's talk about making our dreams happen in real life.

To start with, kill procrastination with an action. To bring your dreams to pass, you need these basic ingredients: a firm decision, a complementary action, and a tough heart. So, it all starts with a decision. This is the second blog I am creating, the first was in 2013. No matter how big your dream is, admit it to yourself that there are little things you have the capacity to do that will keep you in a progressive journey towards your desired end. Once you admit this, you allow your mind to better recognize the opportunities you have access to.

I had mentioned that I had challenges with publishing even though I was a passionate writer. I lost motivation whenever I thought that my passion was not lucrative enough as a full-time career here. I could not afford the cost of traditional publishing. I had a challenge publishing online too. One day I realized I could blog my works in different bits. So, when the thought crossed my mind at about 1:00 am, I did not allow myself to rethink it or worry over it. I had access to data so I just did it.

Hence, the second thing is, don't allow yourself to worry over all the possible challenges you might face, just do whatever you can do right now. Think, there is something. I wanted an experience in communications and I literally had legitimate barriers, but I didn't stop. I expected the challenges to come and I made up my mind that my actual mission was to push against every wall -one by one. I kept applying and walking up to organizations, and one day, my blogging experience earned my a job as a social-media manager, and subsequently an on-air personality at a radio station. Toughen your heart...

Emphasis is on the "ACTION!" Just do the least thing you can do. You'll soon see that you are actually making progress, and this will encourage you to focus on the end while you take one step at a time. The principle is, do something. Anything. Do it even if it's means doing the least you can do! A moving dream is better than a dead one.
