DREAMS 003: The Strength & Powerlessness Of Dreams.

Imagine for instance that your whole life we're a candle that will burn for a hundred years. Whether or not you use this light to achieve anything, it keeps burning without the slightest hesitation, without an apology. It never waits for any person to do what is right or best for them. It just burns. So, a man can yet suffer in darkness when there's a torch in his hands. It is your choice to use this light that renders the light useful or useless for you. Otherwise, a torch is merely a torch and nothing more.

In the same sense, dreams are in themselves entirely abstract and completely boneless to move anything in reality. This is where their powerlessness lies. Dreams are valid but can be vain, too. Our actions are the only means of giving strength and adding credibility to our dreams.
I was very young when I started dreaming of becoming an author and an ENCOURAGER. After many years of procrastination, I challenged myself to commit to writing my first book. After all, I cannot possibly encourage you without communicating with you. After overcoming all the hurdles and finally completing this book, I was again faced with publishing issues. I tried everything within my power, but I got stuck at some point.

The reason I mentioned this is the relevance it has to this matter. At that time, encouraging people was the only thing I was passionate about, and the one thing I wanted to do with my life no matter what people would think. Notwithstanding, it distressed me, but I kept holding on to my dream because the easiest way to fail in life is to quit. Dreams are dreams, thus once you give up on them, they become vain, powerless.

Now, I have decided to blog it for free. Apparently, I have not completely accomplished my dream, but I am closer than ever. Just like most people, I have several ups and downs, but that's to me, my success story.
The STRENGTH of a dream is that it has the potential to be achieved or realized. On the other hand, the POWERLESSNESS is that "If you keep dreaming without acting, you may find that for the first priceless half of your whole life, you have been sleeping in vain, a pitiable sleep!" YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS. YOU HAVE GOT TO KEEP MAKING EFFORTS. Don't quit on that dream. If you have done something yet, reply Yes or No in the comment box below.

  1. My dream. Hmmmmm, they are a lot. My dream of becoming the best makeup artist in the world has started with a step of overcoming one of my greatest challenges. How to draw brows. I am learning to face my fears and quit dreaming vainly. Thanks so much for this. I was enlightened.
